Husker Men's Basketball Team goes 1-1 during first week of Big 12 action

The Husker's men basketball team opened up Big 12 play last Saturday by beating a good Missouri Tiger team at home. The score was 56-51. Nebraska played excellent defense in beating the taller and bigger Missouri team.

Things did not go as well on Wednesday in Aimes. The Huskers lost to Iowa State 53-65. Cold shooting played a huge role in this game.

Husker Basketball Team Opens 2009 Big 12 schedule at Home against Missouri

The Husker's mens basketball team opens it Big 12 conference play against the Missouri Tigers at 1:00 PM in Lincoln on Saturday, January 10th. The game is being broadcast on ESPN2

With spring drills set to begin in less than a month, the Husker Home Run Club is sponsoring a pair of free preseason previews. The first one will take place in Omaha on Saturday, Jan. 17, with the second event commencing in Lincoln on Jan. 24.
